Harassment, bullying, and insults. Some of you may have encountered this behavior when growing up. Or perhaps even more recently online.

Studies show that AI chatbot harassment is on the rise. News articles have also appeared showing how bots can ignore boundaries. What does this mean? Imagine logging onto your business computer and receiving an e-mail like the one above. Impossible? It’s happening. Some CEOs have even received spoofed phone calls asking for money

Is it impossible to use the law to protect yourself against this digital harassment? No. In California at least, the civil code provides that you can seek an injunction against such harassment, even if you don’t live in the state.  While your company’s legal budget may be tight, using legal tools in a pinpoint fashion can assist in remedying.
